52 Weeks of Color: Sienna

This week for 52 weeks of color Luna opened up our inventories to Sienna.  This was fun because I got to incorporate a little bit of newness from *Icing* as well as some of my older favorites from my inventory like from Aoharu, MG Fashion, 5th & Oxford and Fishy Strawberry.  Here’s what I’m wearing!

Suri Alex’s 52 Weeks of Color: Silver

This week’s color assigned by Luna was Silver and I admit it was a little more challenging that I thought–only because my favorite tone of silver is more of a gunmetal…I wonder if that’s a future color?!

*Icing* New Releases Just in Time for New Years

Icing was one of the first stores that I ever visited when I started SL and I liked it because of its vintage inspired looks that reminded me of old Hollywood glamor.  These new dresses are exactly that–with a beautiful one shoulder strap and an overlapping bodice weave. The dresses have a a short train which is really beautiful when dancing.  These dresses are sure to be perfect for that upcoming New Year’s Eve Party.

If you’re like me and your as much a collector of shoes as you are of clothes, well then I have a treat for you! Members of the Elikatira VIP group ($250 group fee) can have this entire collection of shoes I have shown in the picture!  Not a bad investment! Suri Alex’s Week 7: Cerise

Yellow: Bring on the Sunshine

I was delighted to put together this week’s look sprinkled in with a bit of yellow.  It really helped get me out of the winter blaughs with such a warm and summery color.  I decided to do my look as kind of day on the boat in Cape Cod type look. In this look, be sure to stop by the Exile Suscribo for the new Rina hair–it’s a nice mix of chocolatey browns and reds, which is really nice if you’re looking to try out this style.  Boys–you’re not left out of this post, make sure you also check the suscribo for a mechanic skin, and a few hairstyles in the history of the suscribo.  Enjoy!

The Color Challenge: My First Post! Sepia!

Hi all,

Many, many thanks for all those who have kept up with messages, thoughts and gifts while I’ve been on hiatus for school.  This semester was the first time I’ve doubled my courseload, so it was absolutely exhausted! In an effort to get back to blogging, I’ve decided to get back to blogging by starting out with Luna’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.

 

I’m excited, but to maintain the original goal of Suri Alex Style, I promise to include the latest group gifts, freebies and fun in my posts–so an extra challenge for me as I compile these outfits.  This week’s freebies are Belleza’s new group gift skin as well as a December Group Gift pair of earrings (not very visible) that are color change pearls from Dark Mouse.  Keep an eye out for more posts and treats from me!
